For conductive or mixed hearing loss
Works through bone vibration to stimulate the cochlea

Vibrant Soundbridge, etc.
For moderate–severe hearing loss when hearing aids are not sufficient
Who Is a Candidate?
Poor benefit from hearing aids
Severe/profound sensorineural loss
Chronic ear infections or anatomy unsuitable for hearing aids
Children (even <1 year for CI) with congenital hearing loss
